Accommodation

There are a range of accommodation types in Mandurah, including self-contained apartments, hotel rooms, student and budget accommodation. We have listed them below from the most affordable to the most expensive.

Delegates are asked to book directly with the accmmodation place.

IMPORTANT: Monday 29 Sept is a public holiday and start of WA school holidays. Accommodation places will be booking fast. ASL urges members and others attending the Congress to book early.

The Foreshore Motel (08 9535 5577)

Located just a 5-minute walk from MPAC in the heart of Mandurah this recently refurbished property offers hotel style accommodation. All rooms are air-conditioned and breakfast is available. This is Mandurah's most central property and is located within five minutes walk to the foreshore of the estuary.
Cost: $95 twin room + $10 per person continental breakfast

Mandurah Gates Resort & Motel Apartments (08 9581 1222)

A 5-10 walk from MPAC, this 4 star resort offers fully air-conditioned hotel and apartment style accommodation surrounding the pool and spa area. The resort also offers a fully licensed restaurant and bar, function facilities, games room and tennis courts.
Cost: $109 hotel room only

Mandurah Holiday Village (08 9535 4633)
* Recommended for group bookings and students.

This 3 star family resort has self-contained air-conditioned unit style accommodation with two bedroom units sleeping 6-8 people. Pool and heated spa, tennis courts, trampolines and a playground. The Mandurah Holiday Village is situated 100 metres from the beach and a five minute walk to MPAC.
Cost: $115 standard villa (2 persons) + $15 per additional person for up to 8 people. Extra people must be arranged in the booking. Please quote ASL Congress when booking.

Mandurah Ocean Marina Chalets (08 9535 8173)

Overlooking the award winning Mandurah Ocean Marina, these 3 star affordable chalets are a 5-minute walk to the Centre. The chalet park is surrounded by Venetian style canals and is near the mouth of the Peel Inlet. They offer a variety of self-contained accommodation options.

Quest Apartments Mandurah (08 9535 9599)

Quest accommodation group has over 60 properties throughout Australia and New Zealand, located in all major capital cities and tourist destinations. Guests can enjoy the quality of 1, 2 and 3 bedroom apartments, deluxe rooms and business suites for the price of a hotel room. Quest is a pleasant 5 minute stroll along the foreshore from MPAC.
Cost: $129 studio apt (room only), $160 one b/room apt, $193 two b/room townhouse (3), $245 three b/room apt. Mention Australian Society for Limnology Congress to get corporate rate.

Atrium Hotel Mandurah (08 9535 6633)

The complex is a 5-minute walk from MPAC and is built around a tropical-style indoor heated swimming pool and spa with cocktail bar, restaurant and convention facilities. This very affordable hotel features fully furnished air-conditioned rooms including 2 and 3 bedroom apartments equipped with self-catering kitchenette facilities. The Atrium is just a short walk to sheltered beaches and only minutes from the world class Meadow Springs golf course.
Cost: $160 Studio Room, $175 Twin Room, $185 one b/room apt, $225 two b/room apt, $275 three b/room apt.

Seashells Resort Hotel (1800 003 680)

Mandurah's newest 4.5 star resort style accommodation is located on the beach at beautiful Comet Bay and just a 5-10 minute walk from MPAC. The Resort offers a choice of 1, 2 or 3 bedroom fully self-contained apartments, penthouses and luxury beachside villas.
Cost: $200 one b/room apt, $235 two b/room apt

Mandurah Quays Resort (08 9582 8300)

Located just a 10 minute drive from the Centre on the shores of the Peel Inlet, the resort offers 35 two and three bedroom villas, a restaurant and cocktail bar.
Cost: $280 two b/room apt, $310 three b/room apt
